After 28 weeks, a medical letter confirming your stage of pregnancy and fitness for travel is required. Travel is not permitted from 37 weeks onward. New mothers can only fly within seven days post-birth with a completed medical form.
Exceptions:
For travel to/from the Highlands and Islands, you may fly up to week 40 of pregnancy, and there are no post-birth restrictions if you provide a doctor’s letter confirming fitness to travel.
